Great Machine
By PJ (I am an Owner) on Jan 06, 2021Recently purchased a 2012 Ranger xp 800 LE w/ 700 plus hours in excellent condition. Im amazed at the quality of the vehicle very solidly built, straightforward, and everything is accessible. I just changed all the fluids, air filter, and plugs and love the simplicity. Definitely can see why Polaris ... is the number #1

Ranger 2012 800 EPS Browning Edition Camo
By William Kury (I am an Owner) on Oct 12, 2019Careful lots of lemons out there but this year and model is not one of them. I have had the Browning edition camo complete with EPS .....and understand this was a big deal in 2012 at about 17k loaded up. . Today she's still a great looking unit. it will go through almost anything. The key is to crank ... it up to the highest extension for lift and put aftermarket aggressive tires on it......i have abused this unit so bad its incredible it still runs. Quite frankly it is just tough and the only problem i have had with iy is the EPS which was an easy 75.00 fix to replace the fuse.I am a hunter and where we go is crazy deep wet bush.... Northern Saskatchewan Canada. She has never made me walk and i have helped plenty of hunters who's units have failed them. I will not trade it in as new models are to big for bush trails..... Anyway if you got your eyes on this year have nofear she is good to go ,,..... my compliments to polaris.... My recommendations to you ...Always Always change all fluids every year in your units . They will go forever

Things I'd change!
By Doug Themis (I am an Owner) on Sep 03, 2015My first gripe is the cheap floor bucket ,a limb came right thru it both sides!!! The net doors are weak and why put it on a great machine when the first limb rips them off! The heat on your butt from the engine can actually burn you! They need to put heat deflector under seat! The stitching on ... the seat sucks probably from the heat!! Other than that it's been a great ownership! Mine is a browning edition 2012 800xp and I've blown a shock but I'm in the mountains of New Mexico and it had some hard miles in very rough back country and I'm a hard driver but do all maintenance and own the way I drive it ,but that's why I bought it to go up those rough mountain trails and roads and it's never left me hanging in the outback, fix these problems ,I'm a Polaris owner for life!

Great Machine But
By Gregory C Morgan (I am an Owner) on Nov 21, 2014I really enjoy my 2012 Polaris Ranger XP 800 EPS, but there are some things that I don't like about the 2012 version.
1. To much heat coming into the cab as your basically sitting right over the motor.
2. Rear end noise is constant
3. Loud on the inside
I ... love the new 2014 as the motor is set back under the dump body giving you much less heat and noise coming from the motor. Additionally, the rear end seems to be much quieter
