Good machines
By sid albano (I am an Owner) on Aug 08, 2012I have owned a pair of these machines for three years now and have yet to be dissapointed. No mechanical issues of any kind. I now have 2100 miles on both and they run like new. Only halogen lights are easily broken and need replacement at various times. The engine is the key to this machine. Its ... a Japaneese manufactured one,I have been told. Good reliable machines. We use them in the Arizona deserts in the winter and up in the north Idaho mountains summers.

Tons of Power from such a small ATV
By Mark Hiler (I am an Owner) on Dec 30, 2009I was impressed with the rocket take off, high rate of speed and overall fun that this little guy has. The name is deceptive in the way it says a 400 H.O. 455cc is no joke. Now strap that to a 300 sportsman chasis. You are talking super fast and lightweight when you need it and want it.
I ... like the compartment under the front carry rack. Great place to store a few tools and possible needed items. This machine has what you need and want.
Of course as with every new women,(ATV), you select, there are always a few downsides. I think this one has the least of any ones I looked at and of course fianlly purchased. If you are a big guy, or girl, (sorry, there are a few out there) you may find this ride to be a tad small. I am 6'5" and 250. It is a little small for me in size but I got it for personal reasons so I accept the smallness of it. No power steering so get the arms ready but it turns easily when you are moving. The foot rests are a little small, I wear a size 12" shoe and have to be careful so my feet do not get wedged in there.
All in all this is a great ATV. I like Polaris due to being founded and made in america. I also like the look of the Polaris overall. Tough looking bike at not to bad a price. Again, the cheapest I looked and I researched for about 6 months before I bought.
