Happy 450 owner
By Don (I am an Owner) on Apr 21, 2021Don't know where that guy is having all those plow problems, there is a lock on that red handle, push it down to lock, I live in northern wisconsin in the lake effect snow belt, my 450 with the lock and ride plow works perfect, doesn't fall "off"

To Early for this!
By Steve Clark (I am an Owner) on Mar 15, 2021I recently had a liver transplant while in the hospital, My older 500 sportsman broke down on my family. Not good snow was coming. I returned home and purchased this 450 without power steering and it had a winch and a plow. Up until now its been somewhat a decent ATV Starts every time and always ... goes into gear. I do wish the gearing was designed a different way, it is to easy to go right passed the gear you need. Snow came, Now we see what she's like under load. Immediately the plow falls off. And again, and again and again and again and again. it's held together by some stupid red handle. the slightest snow gets near it I think it releases it's self somehow. We have had the driest winter in Colorado in years. hardly any snow this year and yet it is falling off stop and put it back on. holy cow! well we just got hit with the biggest Storm in 15 years. Ever try to push 20 inches of snow at once? Do it when the plow falls off every 10 minutes! Then I trade places with my son who is 40 by the way very mature. we've had 4 wheelers since the 1990's. I plowed 50 feet and the cable snapped on the winch. this is totally unacceptable. Now I have a $9,000.00 piece of metal in my garage. and snow up to our knees. Man I miss my Honda!

I'm happy with it.
By Brian (I am an Owner) on Sep 19, 2020overall I love it. There are certain things I wish were done a little different. There's only one brake lever that operates front and rear at the same time. There is a foot brake but I don't always feel it does the best job. I've tried a few of these new polaris'. I believe it's in the clutch of ... the CVT when you push the throttle the rpms have to hit a certain point before it moves so it jerks from a stop. I've found if you just hold the brake you'll feel it engage and then you can control it. I don't regret buying it. I think it has plenty of power for my needs. I've had it up to 42 mph. I'm fairly large and I've gotten it up to 36 going up hill. I would recommend.
