2016 Arctic Cat 500 4x4

I bought this atv used back in Jan 2020. I did over 2000 km within a year. Awesome ride very comfortable and wasn't expensive. I had to change a few parts like bushings and u joints and such but that is all wear and tear . Engine does lack of horse power but I knew that before buying it and I dont ... need that extra horsepower for what i do.

Ive put this thing through hell and it has been a great bike. Nothing has broken on it, nothing has been replaced. Always starts, runs, and idles flawlessly. leaves other 500's in the dust. There is a vibration from the heat shield but i dont really care. its only at certain rpms. My main complaint ... is that it is too loud. i main use this for hunting so a quiet bike would be useful. you have to keep the rpms around 3k to go at a decent speed. not sure if its just my bike or all 500's are like this but i do know the 700 doesn't sound like this at all. other than that its a great bike.

I've had it since August 2016 and put it through hell no real issues with it at all. If I had to pick something I don't like it's that it's a little top heavy because of the really high ground clearance compared to others. Not really a problem at normal speeds but don't turn at full throttle. Soon ... I'll be getting a wheel spacers kit to fix this.

BTW it says tow capacity 1000lb but it can pull waaaaaay more. When my truck broke down a year ago I pulled it back to the house with the 500 uphill for a 1/2 mile.

this atv has 4wd and a diffrential lock it will go through anything and it has more ground clearence than most atvs like all first bought atvs they will have to get serviced so if its stalling or cutting out the just have to ajust the fuel injection and the first service comes with the warranty this ... machine is better than any yamaha.

I purchased this atv on 8/20/16 I thought I was making a good puchace the atv fit my budget . I have had it to the dealer several times with very loud engine vibration that turned out to be exost heat sheild was loose this took a couple trips to figure out, then I am on my third gauge cluster they ... keep failing, I am also on my third right hand foot well they keep breaking were your heal goes,it has also developed a bad vibration in the front end it makes the atv sounds like a 2 stroke. When I was driving the atv at 42 mph I let off of the throttle to slow down the machine costed for 20' then the left tire locked up and made a hair pin right hand turn and through me off the machine rolled and it through me and I broke my pelvis. I am done with this lemon I am taking it back to the dealer to see if they can get me a new machine this thing is a pile it may just be this machine I don't know.
