2012 Can-Am DS 90

I bought this 2012 DS90 new in 2013 for my son. I had it back to dealer 2 months after purchase to replace the rear sprocket and bolts as the bolts continued to fall out and the chain kept coming off. Dealer was great. Warranty covered repair. They fixed it and that problem went away. It turns over ... very slow and often doesn't start. I had to take it to the dealer to replace the gear in the motor that the starter turns to get the motor started because a few teeth broke off. This was a $300 repair. My son rode it a few months and the same gear is bad again and I have t now replace the starter. I know he can use the kick starter but this process is more for a grown man not a child. I am completely turned off of Can Am atv's and will not recommend them to friends.

Hey all. I just purchased a 2012 can-am ds90 about a month ago. It has just started to spit, sputter, and bog when I lay into it. Sometimes it does and sometimes not. I know the warranty is still on it bit my dealer is 100 molest away and I thought it may be something simple. Haven't seen many ... reviews or comments on the can-am ds90. Anyone had this problem? Overall its a great bike! My son can't get enough of it. I will have to admit tho that I like to ride it as much as him! Other than the spitting issue, I would definatly recommend it.
