2017 Polaris Sportsman® 450 H.O.

I purchased my Polaris back in April 2017, within the first couple months the motor mounts broke which they fixed under warranty. Ran fine for the next few months then when the cold weather hit, I went to go start it so that I could plow the drive, which is really the only reason I bought it in the ... first place, the freakin thing won't start. It turns over just won't start and of course when I called the dealer where I bought she made sure to remind me there's only a 6 month factory warranty. Only has 100 miles on it. I'm sorry they should give at least a year warranty, basically paying for a POS machine to sit unless I put however much money it's going to cost into it which I feel I shouldn't have to pay. Totally disgusted!!

Bought my 2017 Sportsman HO 450 ATV in February and has just over 100 miles on it and already problems with it. Got invited to go trail riding so went to my garage to start it to load it on my trailer and it would crank but not start. Checked gas level spark and air filter and all seem to be ok. ... Called the dealer this morning just to find out i only had a 6 month factory warranty on it which expired in August. So it's either take it to a dealer and spend a lot of money to have them fix or figure it out myself. Now i am SOL and stuck with a brand new ATV which i already have to dump money in to fix.

Had one axle popping after only two months and had to be replaced and 8 months later other axle is bad and needs replacing. Polaris refuses to cover and beware axles are not covered in the extended warranty they try to sell you. Polaris is aware there is an issue with the axles but will not stand ... behind these machines. I am 62 years old and ride this on farm on farm paths so rough riding is not the issue. I have a 2002

500 and do not have the axle issues after 15 years. Very disappointed with quality and durability and Polaris's cavalier attitude. Last Polaris I will ever buy.

Just purchased the 2017 Polaris Sportsman 450 HO & so far are very happy with but it only has 2 hours on it. I also own a Polaris 2007 800 sportsman x2 which honestly is the best machine I have ever driven! But the 450 HO is a beautiful machine, has tuns of torque & with great pick up! A very smooth ... ride & good steering, no need for the power steering. The only this is the transmission seems to be a little clunky on the break in but so far very happy with the performance and overall quality 7 lover the storage!
