Owned my bike since 2013 (now 2015) and I've never had any issues with it. It has mode than enough power to do almost anything you want and with the +2 stance it handles like a dream. To the other reviewer who drove his bike through water.... this is a sport ATV not a utility 4x4 ATV, your issues ... are on you dude.

I see all ppl having problems with there bike shutting off. I put a fmf 4.1 and jetted carb nd but 2 shims on needle. Haven't had problem since. I think there stock jetting is too lean. Also check your feet above sea level. 500 makes a big difference.

The mechanic had to make adjustments. And it worked ok, for one day, and then next day it's starTed doing the same thing. This is ... by far the worst purchase I've ever made.

bought my bike band new did not start with choke was told just to brake it in and it was down hill from there ive put 3 tanks of gas through it and cept getting worse told dealer I hit a puddle and it died he said the bike should not be road in water wtf now it is in the shop because it stalls on ... any hill this bike is a pos we will see how Yamaha handles it the dealer kept blowing me off and now the warranty is out I call 3 day before it went up and they told me to take it to a deferent shop and that's were it is now

I have a 2013 yfz 450 and bought it brand new. My bike had been great for everything I've used it for. This bike has a no problems with it ever since I've had. It it has great steering and lots of power. The motor has ran great.
