Expensive, bad customer service, and misrepresentation best describe this dealer. My boat was damaged in an accident so I brought it there for a repair estimate. When I picked up my boat to get the insurance estimate, they tell me they want over $650 (5% down-payment for the repair) to give the ... estimate to the insurance company. I'm told that the $650 is credited towards the repair work I get done and the parts I buy from them. Fine - pay the price, get the insurance settled, and then try to get my boat in for repair. They are fully booked all summer and can't take it until October. So I agree with them that I'll do some of the work myself during the summer, and then bring it to them to finish in the fall. They tell me that I'll only get back 5% of whatever I spend there from the initial $650 (i.e. if I do half there, I'll only get $325 back). Understood; so I call in the beginning of October to get the fiberglass work done, and now they say they can't take it until Nov, but tell me they are just subbing the fiberglass work out, so they tell me to bring it directly to the fiberglass guy which I do. (which results in a pile of confusion because they botched the estimate and it cost 2.5 times the amount they said it would to fix it, so I had to go back to the insurance company and fix the estimate myself, but that's another story). Then I buy parts there to fix the boat. I spent well over $3200 in parts/labor and expect to apply at least part of my $650 dollar down-payment towards the parts when I pick them up ($160 to be precise). They tell me they can't figure out the refund percentage, and that they will send me a check the next day, so I pay the full amount and leave. They call the next day and now I'm told that because I'm not doing 100% of the work there (I did some myself), they are going to keep the entire $650 and call it the cost of doing the estimate, hence the check they promised would not be coming. They don't feel the $3200 I spent was worthy of any deposit credit because a lot of the work was done by one of their sub-contractors. Through this entire process, their customer service was awful. I knew I should have traveled just a little bit further to the dealer in NH where I'm always treated wonderfully, but figured I'd give these guys a try given they were closer. Never again... BTW - I buy ski-doo, sea-doo, and can-am - but I won't be buying from these guys ever again... the way I figure it is if the service side is awful, why pay the extra high prices to buy there at all, you're better off going elsewhere.
