When I retired I needed help putting my 1976 BMW R75 back in service. Vernon and the gang did a great job. Since that time, I've purchased 2 Moto Guzzis from Moto Italia - I love 'em. Vernon at Moto Italia replaced the gas tank on my V7 racer under warranty (400 miles on the bike) and it now leaks gas profusely onto the engine making it unable to be ridden. After the warranty repair it was transported by truck to my home and the first time I tried to ride it it had the leak upon ... starting it. I am thus unable to ride it to the dealer; he refuses to come get the bike and fix his mistake which is a massive safety hazard.
Further, he ignores my calls and when he does answer he hangs up on me once he realizes that I am calling.
I would never purchase a bike or go to them for any sort of maintenance due to their inability to perform basic tasks as well as a blatant disregard for quality, customer service, and even as far as safety of their customers.
I am filing complaints with the attorney general, BBB, Moto Guzzi and personally filing suit against them.
