My son loaned his 500 Polaris to a friend. His friend ran it into a pond. I took it cycle barn and asked they drain the water, put in new filters, run it some and then replace the oil and oil filter.
They called me and told me it would cost another $ 4200 to get the bike repaired, and ... the bill was about $400, so far. I declined their offer and went to pick up the ATV. I couldn't believe what I found. Everything was disassembled and stripped to the frame and in boxes including all the bolts together with no labeling. It was obvious they were trying to make it so they would get the work and create a big bill. It didn't work; as I loaded it all up and took it to a reputable dealer that told me the bike needed nothing other than new filters and back to back oil changes for a total cost of a couple hundred dollars; but because of what Cycle Barn did the bill was another $2600.00. The ATV still runs great after over a year. Since I have bought a ranger and 2 4 wheelers and they weren't purchased at the cycle barn.

False advertising ! They run a sale, then add the sale price back onto the set-up cost. $2000.00 for set-up on a $4599.00 quad?!?!? I will never deal with Smokey Point Cycle ever again! I have owned over 17 bikes/ quads over the years. $2000.00 set-up is INSANE!! The sales manager is I very ... poor business man, with a really screwed up attitude! Don't do business with Smokey point cycle barn!!!!
