2009 Polaris Sportsman® 550 EFI XP With EPS

I purchased this quad in Sept. of 09 and it is a beast. I needed a quad for work and play. I pull a tow behind brush hog for trails and field cutting. It has plenty of power for a 550, and the 4x4 sytem is awesome. The power steering is great too. I have property to ride on that has swamps, plenty ... of mud in the spring, hills, woods you name it, and this machine handles it all like cakework. No troubles with it yet. And I would definately recommend this quad to anyone.

I have owned this quad since july 2009. Within the first five months the check engine light has come on over 25 times. My dealer and Polaris say it is a nuisence code and it should be disregarded. The mysterious code is 157 which is not listed in the owners manual or in the dealers computer. ... Polaris has emailed my dealer and stated the problem has occured with other machines but they can not explain it. I would like to know what they are going to do to fix my quad and the others. I will never purchase another Polaris as long as i live

I have the 2009 XP550 with EPS Mossyoak camo. This is my first A.T.V.and was bought for hunting and trail rides. I love this thing, My Wife and I ride all over areas We live around. Her family has property with alot of trails and large hills. Several of the Family members driven my Quad, and are ... jealous! Because as you know "THIS THING ROCKS!!" The handle and secure feeling lets Me ride like a Pro. Horse power is plenty for me. Long rides stay comfortible on my shoulders and back. As for the Price, I couldn't got a better unit overall. Its to new for maintenance but everyone says "There Wont Be Much Of That, Because Of Dependability. Over all Review, Love everything about it and Im very happy with it! Thanks Brad Rickard
