Usually, the only people that write a comment into a business is negative response, simply because they did not get their way at the business because they was not serious about buying a product, all they was doing was trying to obtain information and pricing. As a customer and looking to buy a motorcycle ... I had visited several cycle shops not only in the Beckley area but surrounding cities like Charleston, Bluefield. This was the first time that I had ever been in United Cycle and I'm here to tell the consumer they was very personable to me. No, they cannot compete with internet pricing like EBay, Amazon or other on line services, but you get to see up close what your buying and be able to touch it and something you cannot put a price on, is their service with a quality product. What I've found out that... its outstanding because I've already have had to use it. United Cycle treats the consumer fairly with their floor pricing and they put a fair pricing on all their products. I did not only buy 1 motorcycle I bought 2 and they have called and checked on how everything is going with them. My salesman treated me outstanding and introduce me to many motorcycles and explained them to me. No, he could not tend to me every time I walked in the door but at that time some other salesman or employee helped me. I'm thankful for United Cycle tp provide the Beckley area with a variety of outdoor recreation vehicles and help employee this area with jobs. My message to the consumer the next time you want to buy a outdoor recreational vehicle or tractor United Cycle would make a good choice to meet all your needs. I want to thank Dave my salesman for going the extra mile helping me with my two motorcycles because they have brought so much joy to my family. Sincerely, Dennis Stanley

Absolutely the worst place i have every tried to deal with! Employees sat in there little office and would not even ask if i needed help, then when they finally decided to help the guy said excuses me i need to give this guy a price, acted like we were bothering them. Myself and my husband was ... there for over 2 hours waiting on financing, then said we had GREAT credit but the company did not want us. ?????? WTH? I would not send my worst enemy to this place.
Shop around, there is much better Deals out there. If you do not mind to travel you can save ALOT at SportCycles.com. you will save thousands!!! Rockingham NC.

This dealer will rip you off ! They charge more than suggested retail on parts and accessories and try to make out like they cut you a heck of a deal and saved you money. Read the other reviews on the web about this place, I wish I had before I wasted the gas and time and money.

This place will rip you off.
My bike broke down near the New River 6/2013, and I had it towed to United Cycle in Beckley, WV.
After speaking with the service manager, James Selleck, I told him to give it a look and let me know what the repairs would be. I was thinking a bad fuel pump. ... The next time I spoke with him, he tried to tell me that my starter was bad. I got a bad feeling about it, and told him to button it up and I would pick it up later that week, and just charge me for a diagnosis. I had a friend pick it up for me (work kept me busy)...and I was a little shocked when I saw the repair order. It stated that the starter clutch wsa damaged along with the Idler gear and must be replaced. I was also charged 35 for an oil change, for a total of $115.
I had the bike delivered to my trusted mechanic who showed me the evidence of what they did, and didn't do.
They did NOT change the oil....it was many miles black. They did NOT inspect the starter clutch....the cover had never been pulled, and they broke one of my switches.
They flat out ripped me off, because I lived out of town I suspect.
James Selleck will speak to you like he's the nicest guy, and concerned about the issue.....but the truth is ...I got took for $115....and my bike returned with more damage done to it than before they touched it.
Avoid this place.

Avoid this place like the plague! I contacted this dealership on the morning of 5/18/13 and spoke to Randy Brooks about a 2013 Kawasaki Teryx 750. After confirming that he had one in-stock, we agreed upon a price and I told him that I lived a long ways away from them and that I didn't want to waste ... a trip there without having everything ironed out. After an hour and a half of driving all the way to Beckley, Mr. Brooks informs me that he "misunderstood" me and that he quoted me a price on the 2013 Brute Force and that the Teryx was going to be $1200 more than what he quoted me on the phone. They would not honor the quote they gave me originally, so I bought one at another dealership that bent over backwards to help me out and even gave me a winch installed. Buyer beware! This dealership is shady. Take your business elsewhere because they don't deserve your hard-earned money.
