Demos available at three round of 13-stop tour

The Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series has announced that Can-Am will return with its demo rides for the 2011 season. Can-Am demos will be offered at three rounds of the 13-stop tour, with an additional round featuring display units only.

“We return as title sponsor of one of the greatest off-road racing series in the world, and we return with our demo tour at selected spots in 2011,” says Chaz Rice, media and public relations manager for Can-Am. “We enjoy bringing our machines to the GNCC crowds because we appreciate their passion for performance and winning. These are two elements crucial to the Can-Am brand.”

Demo rides will be offered at the Loretta Lynn, Snowshoe and Ironman events, with the addition of display units at Unadilla. Several products from the 2011 Can-Am line will be represented at the demo – featuring the Commander, the Outlander and the Renegade.

The GNCC track crew will construct a course that will showcase the capabilities and characteristics of each machine.

“We’re excited to welcome back Can-Am Demos for another year,” says Jeff Russell, GNCC trail boss. “Can-Am always brings out a great setup for their demos and we’re happy to construct a course where people can experience a Can-Am of their choice and really get the most out of it.”

The first demo ride will be held at the Parts Unlimited Loretta Lynn’s GNCC in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. April 30 – May 1.

The 2011 Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series kicks off with the Moose Racing Westgate River Ranch GNCC in River Ranch, Fla. in conjunction with Daytona Bike Week March 5-8. ATV practice will take place on Saturday and racing on Sunday, followed by bike practice on Monday and racing on Tuesday.
