Adjustable fuel tuning system for fuel injected ATVs

Dubach Racing Development (DRD) of Norco, Calif. has announced its latest product, the Mod Box. According to DRD, the Mod Box will enhance the performance of current models that feature fuel injection.

The DRD Mod Box is an adjustable fuel controller that DRD says improves the stock fuel injection map once a rider has modified his airbox, air filter, or purchased an aftermarket exhaust. The adjustable fuel mapping includes three tunable modes for different terrain, weather, and riding conditions.

“The Mod Box is easy to install and will instantly provide performance gains for fuel injected models,” DRD says in a release. “Fuel Injection is a step forward but stock mapping is just that, stock mapping.”

According to DRD, the stock fuel map needs to be reprogrammed in order receive the greatest benefits of engine modifications. DRD tests a variety of applications and selects the best map for each model.

“When a map has passed DRD’s Dustin Nelson and Doug Dubach test, the map is programmed into the product-specific DRD Mod Box,” DRD says in the release.

DRD says the Mod Box, which retails for $299, provides better throttle response, more power and faster top speed. Installation is simple and owners can make adjustments on the fly without a computer.

Although the DRD Mod Box comes pre-programmed for DRD exhaust systems and recommended modifications, it can be used with any aftermarket exhaust or air filter. The Mod Box is available today for Yamaha Raptor 700, Kawasaki KFX450, Suzuki LTR450 and Yamaha Rhino. It can be purchased at dealerships nationwide or on-line at http://www.dubachracing.com/. The DRD Mod Box comes with a two-year limited warranty.
