2015 Yamaha Race Team Highlighted by Wienen and Borich
Yamaha has announced its 2015 ATV race teams, which includes one six-time champ who just made the switch.
Leading the MX teams for Yamaha in 2015 is three-time AMA Pro ATV champ Chad Wienen on his Wienen Motorsports/SSI YFZ450R. He is looking forward to starting his title defense at the inaugural Daytona SX event. Maxxis/Moto-XPerts Thomas Brown, who took third in AMA Pro ATV competition in 2014, returns to Yamaha again this season and also has his sights set on a 2015 championship.

With just over a month until the opening round of the 2015 Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship, sanctioned by AMA (ATVMX), at the iconic Daytona International Speedway, MX Sports Pro Racing and Ricky Carmichael officially unveiled the Carmichael-designed layout that will challenge the world’s best ATV riders for the very first time.
The Fly Racing ATVSX debut from Daytona will follow the legendary Daytona Supercross and the Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross on Tuesday, March 10.
2015 ATV Motocross Season Opens at Daytona Bike Week

The 2015 Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship, sanctioned by AMA is scheduled to kick off on Tuesday, March 10.
ATV Motocross Series Offers Free Admission for Veterans

MX Sports Pro Racing and the ATV Promoter’s Group (ATVPG) have introduced an initiative with the Veteran Tickets Foundation to offer free admission to any round of the 2015 Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship, sanctioned by AMA (ATVMX).
For the first time ever, active and retired military veterans can watch the on-track excitement of the world’s premier ATV motocross series at no cost.
MAVTV to Air Coverage of Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross Series Races
ATV racing fans will be able to catch every round of the 2014 Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship series on MAVTV.
The 10-show schedule kicks off with a pre-season preview show, followed by coverage of all nine rounds of the AMA Pro ATV Class. The series begins March 22 and 23 with the Aonia Pass MX National in Washington, Ga.
Yamaha Announces 2014 ATV Race Team
In conjunction with its annual Feed the Children food drop, Yamaha announced its 2014 ATV race team.
As part of the seven-hour celebration at Yamaha’s Southern California headquarters, employees enjoyed meeting past and present Yamaha racers including two-time AMA ATV National Champion Chad Wienen. Wienen was one of a number of 2013 Yamaha champions on hand including motorcycle racing champions Josh Herrin, Cameron Beaubier, Jessica Patterson and Tomas Puerta. Past Yamaha champions and racing legends Gary Jones and Kenny Roberts were honored for all of their success and contributions to the motorsports industry and specifically to Yamaha.
2014 Mtn. Dew ATVMX National Championship Schedule Announced
MX Sports Pro Racing and the ATV Promoter’s Group (ATVPG) have revealed the 2014 schedule for the Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship, sanctioned by AMA. The nine-round series is down one event from 2013 and kicks off March 22 and 23 at Aonia Pass MX in Washington, Ga., and concludes on August 9 and 10 with the historical Loretta Lynn’s season finale in Hurricane Mills, Tenn.
Many of the series’ traditional stops will return in 2014, including Muddy Creek Raceway in Blountville, Tenn., Sunset Ridge MX in Walnut, Ill., Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania’s High Point Raceway, RedBud in Buchanan, Mich., and New Berlin, New York’s legendary Unadilla.
Creamer Returns to NEATV-MX and Sweeps Round Nine Motos
Josh Creamer won both the Pro and Pro-Am classes at round nine of the New England ATV Motocross series in Pennsylvania. The reigning Pro and Pro-Am class champion used his ITP Quadcross motocross tires to grab three of four holeshots and win all four motos he entered.
“Josh Creamer is a true professional who put in another dominant performance this past weekend in Pennsylvania,” says Pat McGuire, public relations / race support for ITP. “Even with more competition in both classes, Creamer won all four of his motos and the top two classes in the New England motocross series using our premium ATV motocross tires.”
