Production of the new Yamaha Wolverine R-Spec Side-by-Side vehicle is in full swing this month at Yamaha’s U.S. factory in Newnan, Ga. Yamaha dealers are receiving units this month.

The all-new Wolverine R-Spec sets a new standard in off-road capability and class-leading comfort. It is designed and engineered for exploring extreme terrain and features an all-new nimble chassis with a compact design, look and feel. The Wolverine’s comfortable and secure cab has seating for two, and its injection-molded composite fixed-position cargo bed is both lightweight and durable for long, rough rides.

“The Wolverine R-Spec is made for hunters, explorers and off-road adventure seekers,” says Steve Nessl, Yamaha’s ATV/SxS group marketing manager. “This is a hard core off-roading, expedition worthy machine. The Wolverine’s class-leading handling and off-road capabilities will set a new standard in the SxS world. We can’t wait until people are able to get some seat time in this all-new Yamaha Side-by-Side.”

The Wolverine R-Spec features Yamaha core technologies including Ultramatic fully-automatic transmission, On-Command four-wheel drive system and Electric Power Steering. The new Wolverine R-Spec also features fully adjustable suspension with KYB nitrogen gas charged piggyback shocks that control 9.7 inches of travel up front and 10.6 inches of travel in the rear.

Standard Wolverine R-Spec models feature a hard sun top and come in Steel Blue and Hunter Green. The new camo Wolverine R-Spec is the first ever SxS to feature Realtree Xtra Camo. MSPR for non-EPS models starts at $12,199 and for EPS models starts at $13,199.
