Polaris' Least Expensive 2026 XPEDITION Costs Almost $40k

There's a niche within each niche, and Polaris has carved out a nice little segment for itself with the overlanding special XPEDITION side-by-side. While it was never inexpensive, Polaris has lobbed off another entry-level trim. That makes the most affordable XPEDITION model start at a whopping $39,499.

That's right: The "entry-level" 2-seat XPEDITION XP ticks in at $39,499. Meanwhile, the 5-seat top-trim XPEDITION ADV is $45,499. That sounds like utter madness, but we can understand some of the pricing.

Buyers in the dedicated adventure rig category are looking for something they can buy in place of a Jeep Wrangler, Ford Bronco, Toyota 4Runner, or the likes-- and not have to worry about driving it home. It's a different kind of value proposition, one that brings a vehicle with a high level of capability to enthusiasts, and with that comes the territory of priciness. By cutting the relatively bare-bones base XPEDITION that was available last year, getting into a new XPEDITION becomes a $40k ordeal any way you slice it.

Meanwhile, Polaris is bringing a sub-$10k Ranger 500 to market, so the company isn't just tailoring to high rollers. And like everything else, the spread of options available in Polaris' catalog is only getting bigger, so at least that's a consolation prize.
