STI has expanded its Outback tire line with four new wider sizes: 26/10-12, 26/12-12, 27/10-12 and 27/12-12.

The Outback is STI’s all-around ATV and UTV tire and the new wider profile is designed to increase flotation and traction in loose conditions while retaining a smooth ride on hard-pack surfaces. As well, the new Outback models feature unique lugs that are stepped on the outside and dimpled in the middle. According to STI, this design provides aggressive grip and efficient clean-out capability, while maintaining ride comfort.

Each Outback tire is built with a six-ply carcass and beefy rim guard for added durability

Launched in 2013, the Outback tire line was created to deliver the comfort and durability needed for hard-pack trails with the bite and control required when riding in mud and loose terrain. STI boasts the center “V” tread pattern gives that smooth ride on hard surfaces. The deep, dimpled lug design adds the aggressive traction component, and the lugs wrap around the shoulder to add side bite.

The new Outback XT uses 1 1/8-in. deep lugs; the lugs on the original Outback AT tires measure 3/4-in. deep.
