With the Lucas Oil Off-Road Regional Series holding both Rounds 2 and 3 on the same weekend, Cody Rahders took the opportunity to rebound from a DNF while leading at Round 1 to win both Round 2 and 3 of the Production 1000 class, in his 2015 Polaris RZR XP 1000 EPS.
After spending Friday with Justin Lambert of Cognito Motorsports taking lap times and Brandon Hong from Sparks Racing dialing in his clutch, Rahders went on to place second in Saturday’s qualifier for Round 2 of the series. In the main event, he started in fourth position and by the exit of turn one, he was leading and never looked back for his first win of the 2015 season.
PRP Seats has released what it is calling the first front bench for the Polaris RZR XP 1000.
The GT 50/50 Front Bench features independently removable sides, which is designed to make it easy to access the battery or change the oil. Large harness openings and a quick release pull make removing each seat quick.
Polaris has given the RZR XP 1000 and RZR XP 4 1000 a power boost for the 2015 model year. Each model now produces a claimed 110 horsepower – up from 107 horsepower when they were introduced last year.

This past weekend, Polaris RZRs picked up wins in three different series across the country. From Best in the Desert’s The Mint 400, to WORCS Round 3, to the first side-by-side race in GNCC, RZRs found the top step of the podium.
The Mint 400 is the oldest, roughest, most spectacular off-road race in North America and has attracted thousands of racers and celebrities who have tried to master the harsh Nevada desert. This year, Polaris, once again, sponsored the race and had one of their sponsored teams took top honors in the Pro Class, Jagged X’s Brandon Scheuler and Blake Van De Loo, in the No. 1919 RZR 4 900. Despite their terrible draw of the 28th starting position, Scheuler piloted the No. 1919 to victory for his first Mint win, fourth BITD win in a row and second this season.

New Polaris Factory Racer Mitch Guthrie Jr., who moved from the Production 1000 class to the Pro Class for 2014, grabbed the holeshot in his Guthrie Racing RZR XP 1000 and finished in second. Polaris Racer RJ Anderson in his new Holz/Walker Evans/Polaris RZR XP 1000, started on the second row and ultimately won the Pro SxS class.
