At the 2024 Ultra 4 King of the Hammers event in Johnson Valley, CA, Can-Am dominated on the racing terrain. The Can-Am Factory Racing Team, with their state-of-the-art Can-Am Maverick R, showcased exceptional prowess, securing top honors in the UTV Hammers Championship.

Kyle Chaney steered the all-new Can-Am Maverick R to victory in both the UTV Hammers Championship overall and UTV Pro Mod class. Chaney's remarkable performance, from setting the fastest qualification time to leading the race wire-to-wire, marked his fourth overall win and extended Can-Am's streak to five consecutive years at the forefront of the race. Phil Blurton, piloting the Can-Am Maverick X3, closely followed, securing second place in the UTV Pro Mod class and a commendable third place overall.

The grueling 170-mile race, renowned for its challenging rock and desert terrain, is considered the most demanding single-day race globally. Can-Am Factory Racers navigated through both the UTV Pro Mod and UTV Pro Open classes, showcasing the versatility of the new Maverick R platform and the legendary Maverick X3 platform.

Despite facing a challenging loop course with the infamous 'Backdoor' section during the qualifying race, the Can-Am Factory Racing Team demonstrated exceptional skill. Chaney's breathtaking qualifying run, including a notable jump, garnered widespread attention on social channels, accumulating nearly 5 million views.

Kyle Chaney reflected on the challenges of the race, emphasizing the late decision to run the new Maverick R. Despite facing adversity, Chaney expressed pride in showcasing the Maverick R's capabilities and securing victory, even with two flat tires on lap two.

The Can-Am Factory Racing Team's success extended beyond Chaney's triumph, with Phil Blurton's podium finish and Paul Wolff's impressive performance in the Open UTV class, where he overcame competitors with twice the displacement of his Maverick X3.

The team's next challenge awaits at the 2024 San Felipe 250 on Saturday, March 23, 2024, where the Can-Am Factory Racing Team aims to continue their winning streak and showcase the exceptional performance of Can-Am vehicles in the world of off-road racing.
