onX Offroad GPS, a top app for off-road navigation, has announced a new partnership with off-road racing icon Cameron Steele and his Desert Assassins Crew. This collaboration brings together the best in off-road navigation technology with a renowned figure from the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame.

Cameron Steele has an extensive off-road racing background spanning three decades, highlighted with victories in events like the Baja 1000 and Mexican 1000. He's a well-respected figure known for his expertise, passion, and commitment to the off-road community, with his love for and involvement in the off-road community extending to ESPN broadcasting. He's also a philanthropist working with Rancho Santa Marta orphanage. This aligns perfectly with the mission of onX Offroad, which seeks to offer users an unmatched off-road navigation experience.

Steele plans to use onX Offroad's GPS technology on his journeys across the Baja Peninsula, including notable events like the Trail of Missions and Rip to Cabo, as well as during pre-runs in California's Johnson Valley. His extensive knowledge of challenging terrain will be further enhanced by this advanced navigation tool.

"We’re really excited and proud to partner with Cameron Steele," said Rory Edwards, General Manager for onX Offroad. "Given how much time he spends exploring and giving back to the off-road communities across North America, it only made sense to bring him onboard."

"I’m so happy to be partnering with onX Offroad, they are truly leading the way in making off-roading more safe and accessible,” said Steele, off-road icon and leader of the Desert Assassins. “I love the tech and safety features that onX Offroad offers, it has totally changed the way we plan and organize our events and racing efforts."

The onX Offroad GPS app is designed for off-road navigation across the United States, Mexico, and Canada, providing detailed trail maps, offline functionality, and real-time tracking. With these features, users can confidently navigate through rocky trails, sandy dunes, and dense forests. It's an essential companion for anyone who loves off-roading, whether on two or four wheels.
