Kawasaki KFX450: Best Buy of the Week
Each week our editors scour the ATV.com classifieds to look for an interesting ATV or UTV to highlight for our readers. This week we found a 2012 Kawasaki KFX450R Sport ATV that looks to be in great shape, which you can see right here. This is a private sale and the seller is based out of Saint Johns, Fla. and is asking for $5,500.
Here is how the seller describes the ATV:
2012 KFX 450R is in excellent condition and mostly all original. It has a slip on HMF exhaust and still have the stock pipe available. Just completed a full maintenance with new oil and filter, valve adjustments, spark plug and air filter. I have a brand new Quad Tech trail seat and original seat is included. Also include is an extra oil change kit, spark plug and miscellaneous maintenance items. Older rider and always garage kept and never abused. Quad has low hours and is ready for the riding season. No trades cash only. Title in hand.
This ATV features a 449cc single-cylinder engine that produces a claimed 42.8 horsepower. The dual A-arm front suspension controls 8.5 inches of travel, while the swing arm rear suspension doles out 10 inches of travel.
Designed as a high performance race machine, the KFX450R sits 46.1 inches wide with a 49.4-inch wheelbase. Ground clearance is 4.3 inches and the stock machine weighs 392.5 pounds ready to ride. Fuel capacity is 2.6 gallons and seat height is 30.9 inches.
Connecting the Kawasaki KFX450R to the ground are 21×7-10 front tires and 20×10-9 rear tires wrapped around aluminum wheels. Dual hydraulic discs up front and a single disc in the rear control stopping power
