Thankfully snow has more give than dirt

Earlier this year we shared a video of Al Mcbeth attempting a new world distance record in his Polaris RZR. This past May, Mcbeth decided he wanted to try the same thing, only in the snow. The plan was to jump 150 feet over a jump with an 8o-foot gap. Unfortunately, the conditions were less than ideal and Mcbetth nearly wiped out on his first attempt. Amazingly, despite an incredibly hard hit, he whipped around and tried again. While the outcome was not what they had hoped for, if there’s one thing we know about Mcbeth, he’ll be back and it will be MUCH bigger!

Growing up in Oregon, most of Seth's involvement in the powersports world was limited to what he saw in magazines and videos. Following a brief stint in the corporate world, Seth took a flying leap (literally) and moved to California to pursue a career in freestyle motocross. Though short lived, the opportunity immersed him in the industry and is now a well-established off-road writer.
