Two arrested after stolen ATVs recovered
Investigators in Georgia claim to have broken up an ATV theft ring that was operating in several counties south of Macon.
The break in the case came when the Dooly County Sheriff’s Office found an ATV that matched one stolen from a hunting camp in Laurens County. This discovery led officers to Houston County where three more stolen ATVs were found. Several more stolen vehicles were discovered in Dodge County.
Officers have arrested 30-year-old Jerry Brown and 23-year-old James Matthew McCrainie.
