Tarantula Performance Racing working on custom quad

The next custom quad build from Tarantula Performance Racing is in the works and will be released later this summer, but ATV enthusiasts can get a sneak peak at the build in progress right now.

Yamaha’s new motocross-specific sport quad, the YFZ450R, is the base for TPR’s next project quad. TPR is working furiously with its team of sponsors to roll out the quad this summer, and you can watch the project come together online at TPR’s Web log, Tarantula Performance Racing Quad Promotions. The blog is being hosted on the site BlogSpot.com and can be viewed here.

TPR is famous for the Spyder Quad, a Suzuki LTR450 built with Quinn Michael of Outta Control Racing Ministries for the 2008 Indy Dealer Expo. The Spyder Quad was built under wraps, but the TPR project YFZ450R is more of an open secret.

The blog focuses on the TPR project YFZ450R, which will debut the Tarantula Performance ‘Race Safe’ nerf bars and front bumper for adult-sized sport quads this summer. A full ride review from the perspective of a pro-am national rider will wrap up the project YFZ450R build at the Uhrichsville, Ohio based Crow Canyon Ride Park.
