Polaris continues to grow its line of aftermarket house brands by adding Walker Evans Racing to the extensive list which includes Kolpin, Pro Armor, Trail Tech, and more.

Polaris recently announced an agreement with Walker Evans Enterprises for the purchase of the Walker Evans Racing brand. Walker Evans Enterprises has been supplying Polaris with shocks for the company's off-road vehicles and snowmobiles since 2000, so this seems like a no-brainer for the company.

“Co-owners Walker Evans and Randy Anderson have helped shape the off-road industry and built a company that has become recognized for providing performance products,” said President of Off-Road Steve Menneto on the acquisition. “When Walker, his wife Phyllis, and Randy informed Polaris they would be looking to sell, the decision to purchase the business was an easy choice as it complements our strategy and strengthens supply chain continuity of one of our key off-road and snow shock components.”

As Polaris begins the integration of the Walker Evans business into its day-to-day operations, WEE co-owner will join the Polaris team to support a seamless transition of the business and continue to advance innovation of the Walker Evans product portfolio.

While the sale is still contingent on customary closing conditions, it is expected to be a sealed deal before the end of Q3.
