Tuffy Security Products has just expanded its product line to include a new security solution for the side-by-side Polaris RZR, including the 2014 and newer RZR XP1000 and 2016 and newer XP Turbo. College campuses, farmers, golf courses, off-roaders, amusement park owners, resort operators and anyone with the Polaris RZR models which the Tuffy UTV Strongbox fits will benefit from the secure protection of the lockbox.

The patent-pending UTV Strongbox secures gear and valuables in the rear of the UTV with enough lockable storage area to fit just about anything. Crafted of powder coated 16 gauge steel, Tuffy’s UTV Strongbox keeps mud, dust, water and other elements away from the stored items.

Supported by gas shocks and featuring a large, comfortable handle, the lid is effortlessly lifted. Rugged construction, combined with the company’s proprietary Pry-Guard II locking system, helps prevent theft when the UTV is left unattended. Users have easy access to the contents of the 4,800 cubic inch box, measuring 26 by 19.5 by 12 inches, by using either a 10 tumbler, double-bitted key or a 10 button, high-security combination lock for keyless convenience.

Easily installed in the UTV bed without drilling, Tuffy’s UTV Strongbox still allows quick access to the engine as well as the air filter. A rubber plug goes through the box to the OEM mount point and a hand-twist screw on top of the plug compresses the rubber plug which creates mounting tension and a weathertight seal for a compression fitting, securing the UTV Strongbox into the bed. As a result of its fitment, the UTV Strongbox is simply installed and can also be removed without hassle for portable convenience for the user.

“As the UTV market grows considerably, so does the need for valuables to be protected,” said Chip Olson, marketing director for Tuffy Security Products. “We designed our new UTV Strongbox to be durable enough for UTV drivers no matter what type of environment they’re being used in.”

The UTV Strongbox carries an MSRP of $350.
