Volcon Inc. Expands Stag UTV Lineup With New Trim Levels
Volcon Inc., an all-electric, off-road powersports company, has announced the introduction of new trim levels for its flagship product, the Stag UTV. This expansion aims to cater to a broader customer base by offering a variety of options and price points.
The new additions to the Stag UTV lineup are the Stag GL, Stag GL+, Stag Limited Edition (LTD), and the Stag XR Performance. The Stag GL and GL+ versions are designed with repackaged automotive-grade battery components, extending the lifespan of the already sourced lithium while maintaining robust off-road capabilities. The Stag GL is tailored for budget-conscious customers seeking an electric option for their fleet or outdoor activities. In contrast, the GL+ offers enhanced horsepower and upgraded features, suitable for both work and leisure.
The Stag LTD and XR Performance trims are geared towards high performance, boasting increased battery capacity and horsepower, positioning the Stag at the forefront of off-road performance.
Jordan Davis, Volcon's Chief Executive Officer, commented on the challenges faced by the automotive and powersports sectors, especially due to global supply issues exacerbated by the pandemic and the growing demand for electric vehicles. He emphasized that by broadening their electric UTV offerings, Volcon is directly addressing these challenges. The company aims not only to provide more affordable options for customers but also to diversify its supply chain to mitigate the escalating costs of EV components.
Volcon unveiled the Stag Limited Edition at the Sand Sport Super Show in Costa Mesa, California, from September 15 to 17.
