Buckhannon hopes to become first American to win the event
2017 is about to get a lot more exciting for GNCC racer Bryan Buckhannon. The QuadBoss-sponsored racer is about to take on the countryside of Transylvania from April 3 to April 8 as he competes in the world’s hardest and most challenging ATV race, the CFMOTO-HUNT-THE-WOLF-2017.
“This is an extreme race,” says Buckhannon. “It’s 1000 km through some of the most beautiful country in the world. It’s all off-road with some unforgettable and challenging tracks. So far, no American has won this race, but I’m definitely going to give it my all.
Buckhannon ended 2016 on a high note with a first-place win at Snowshoe, WV, his hometown race and secured second place overall in the GNCC Championship.
“So far 2017 has been pretty good. Right now, I’m in second place in points and the season is just starting. I took second place in Union, SC, in a race that had me nose to tail with the leader throughout the whole race. Then I placed third in Placa, FL. It’s a solid start.”
Buckhannon will come back from Romania ready to take on the Baja 500 and 1000 for the first time.
