A good lesson in looking before you drop in

If you’ve ever ridden the Oregon sand dunes, you know there are a lot of tempting “tree holes” or hillclimbs along the tree line or bodies of water in the dunes. The problem is that often times you don’t know whether or not there is sufficient room to turn around until you’re at the bottom. Clearly this fellow assumed he’d be able to turn his quad around at the bottom and realized about halfway down the hill that it just wasn’t the case. Fortunately for him he managed to get straightened out and made it up the hill without too much trouble.

Growing up in Oregon, most of Seth's involvement in the powersports world was limited to what he saw in magazines and videos. Following a brief stint in the corporate world, Seth took a flying leap (literally) and moved to California to pursue a career in freestyle motocross. Though short lived, the opportunity immersed him in the industry and is now a well-established off-road writer.
