Can-Am GNCC Series partners with Motors TV

The Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series (GNCC) will be reaching a much larger audience in 2008.

Thanks to a new partnership with Motors TV, more than 55 countries will have access to more than 250 hours of coverage of GNCC’s cross-country motorcycle and ATV events beginning Jan. 10. Along with Motors TV, GNCC racing also airs in the United States on Versus and on Fox Sports in Australia.

“We’re excited to partner with Motors TV to continue to bring GNCC racing to the world,” says GNCC trail boss Jeff Russell. “Along with our stateside telecasts on Versus and our Australian television package, the Motors TV coverage will carry GNCC Racing to literally millions of homes around the globe with the hard-hitting coverage and excitement viewers have come to expect.”

Motors TV will air 30-minute shows from each bike and ATV event of the 13-race GNCC tour. The shows will air in five different languages in a host of countries including Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Russia and others.

The 2008 Can-AM GNCC Series begins with the Triton in Melbourne, Fla. ATVs hit the trails on Sunday, March 2, while the bikes begin on Tuesday, March 4.

GNCC events test racers over a variety of terrain, including hills, woods, mud, dirt, rocks and motocross sections. As many as 1,800 riders compete in the three-hour races.
