Boost horsepower and decrease weight

DMC has announced new Afterburner slip-ons for the Can-Am Outlander 800 and 800 Max, as well as a Quiet Exhaust System for the Honda TRX250EX.

According to DMC, these systems address the need for keeping sound requirements legal while delivering on powerband performance in the full range from low, to mid, to high end.

“Dramatic increases in horsepower and torque deliver reliable power that’s smooth and controllable making a significant improvement to your riding experience,” DMC says in a release.

Both the Afterburner slip-on and the Quiet Exhaust System meet the USFS sound level of less than 96 db’s, so you can have all the power on demand you want while keeping the authorities off your back.

Each DMC Afterburner slip-on comes equipped with a removable spark arrestor and the DMC S.O.S. (Save our Sport) Quiet Insert, which not only reduces sound, but is also designed to provide an increase in smooth, tractable power. The Quiet Exhaust System also comes with a header and a mid pipe with heat shield.

Both Can-Am Outlander Afterburner slip-ons regularly retail for $288.95, but at the time of publish each is available for $231.16 at DMC-On-Line.com. The Honda TRX250EX system normally retails for $359.95, but is currently on sale for $287.96.
