Kawasaki has had a lot of success with its Mule Pro family the past couple of years and it doesn’t look like Team Green is resting on its laurels. The 2020 Kawasaki Mule Pro-FXT Ranch Edition has gotten a pretty significant upgrades.
At the top of the list, the six-person Mule Pro-FXT Ranch Edition benefits from new styling for the 2020 model year. While Mules of old are work-first machines, the Mule-Pro FXT is designed to stand out from the crowd. It comes with a new Metallic Phantom Silver body color, along with a redesigned front end. Up front you’ll find a painted grille and bodywork that surrounds the front bumper and headlamps.
Speaking of lighting, the Mule Pro-FXT Ranch Edition boasts compact outer headlamps (35/35 W) and new LED inner headlamps. Despite its more styling exterior, this is still a vehicle designed to work and sometimes that work happens before or after the sun is high in the sky.
Another benefit to workers is the addition of the new WARN VRX45 winch. This winch had an impressive 4500-pound capacity and is now standard equipment on the 2020 Mule Pro-FXT Ranch Edition.

The final upgrade on the flagship Mule Pro for the 2020 model year is new contoured bench seating for both the driver and right-side passenger. The seats feature a two-tone design for a touch of added style and improved comfort. Three-point seatbelts keep everybody safely secured.
While the new changes are great, at the heart of the Mule Pro-FXT Ranch Edition is an 812cc three-cylider, fuel-injected, gasoline engine. This mill delivers a claimed 48 lb-ft of torque and helps the Mule haul up to 1000 pounds and two up to 2000 pounds.
The engine’s power is controlled by a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and an electronically selectable 2WD/4WD system with a locking rear differential.
Adding comfort and control is front and rear double-wishbone suspension that doles out 8.7 inches of travel at all four wheels and 10.0 inches of ground clearance.
The 2020 Kawasaki Mule Pro-FXT Ranch Edition measures in with a length of 135.6 inches, width of 64 inches and total height of 79.5 inches with a wheelbase of 92.3 inches. It also comes with aluminum wheels with 26-inch tires wrapped around them.
Finally, the Mule Pro-FXT Ranch Edition is backed by Kawasaki’s industry leading three-year limited warranty. Prices start at $16,999 for Metallic Rustic Bronze or $17,199 for Metallic Phantom Silver.
