DMC says this is a true bolt-on system and fits all Raptor 700 models with no cutting, bending or hacking involved. New Engine Kits for Kawasaki Teryx
Teryx 750 80 HP Motor Kit
This is a true 11.5:1 standard piston with stage two cams. The kit is a direct drop-in replacement and comes with pistons, rings, pin, clips, cams and valve springs.
There is a core charge on the cams ($400.00, DFR-4PCAM2). To maximize your horsepower gains, the DragonFire Racing Teryx Intake ($264.71, DFR-4PAF), Ignition ($225.00, DFR-4PCDI) and Dual Exhaust ($900.00, DFR-4PDE) are recommended. DragonFire Racing Offers New Rhino 700 Mods
DragonFire Racing of Mesa, Ariz. has introduced three new aftermarket accessories for the Yamaha Rhino 700.
Topping the list is the Rhino 700 EFI 7 Map Race Controller. This controller, which retails for $499 (DFR-1PEFI), has seven base map settings and allows the end user to run any of DragonFire Racing’s pre-programmed settings or calibrate their own fuel and ignition map.
Settings range from a 4500 rpm map for lower speed driving and an 8500 rpm map for overall top speed, which is a 2000 rpm increase over stock. This allows the vehicle to reach speeds in the mid-60 mph range when used in conjunction with DragonFire Racing’s 700 EFI Clutch and Sheeve.
For added speed at a lower cost, DragonFire Racing offers its Rhino 700 CDI, 8000 rpm, which costs $250 (DFR-1PCDI08). This ignition comes with the company’s standard map. The CDI takes the vehicle from 6500 rpm to 8000 rpm and a top speed of 52 mph. By adding DragonFire Racing’s 08 Rhino Sheeve or Snowmobile Clutch the car can do over 60 mph.
Slip-on Exhaust System for Honda TRX 400EX
Two Brothers Racing of Santa Ana, Calif. has released its M-7 series exhaust system for the 2008 Honda TRX 400EX.
Sporting a precision mandrel bent brushed stainless slip tube and brushed aluminum canister, the M-7 slip-on system offers a performance boost for the TRX 400EX.
According to Dyno tests done by Two Brothers, the M-7 boosts horsepower across the entire powerband. At 6,400 rpm, an M-7-equipped TRX 400EX pumps out 26.4 ponies, compared to 25.0 hp in stock form.
“Performance gains of our slip-ons are similar to our full systems at a fraction of the cost,” Two Brothers Racing says in a release. “We are sure that when you pull this exhaust system out of the box, install it on your ATV and feel the performance, you will agree that it is the absolute top level.”
ITP Adds to SS Alloy Wheel Line
International Tire Products (ITP) of Ontario, Calif. had beefed up its ever-growing SS Alloy wheel line with the introduction of the new SS212.
ITP’s SS212 is a one-piece wheel and is available in three finish options. The first is a bright, diamond-cut machined wheel with black accents and topped with a tough clear coat. A very slick looking matte black and a gleaming chrome finish are available. Each wheel comes with a custom SS wheel cap.
Like ITP’s other SS Alloy wheels, the SS212 is manufactured using a high-tech Advancecast process, which the company says results in an incredibly strong and light final product. So strong, in fact, that ITP covers the SS212 with a lifetime structural warranty. If you bend or break the wheel, ITP will replace it.
Anti-vibe Handlebar Mounts
Epic Racing Products of Las Vegas has released a new anti-vibration and anti-shock handlebar mount for the Can-Am DS 450.
The Isovibe SX, according to Epic Racing Products, is better than standard anti-vibe stems because it absorbs both vibration and shock in the forward, rearward, vertical and side-to-side directions. At US$179, the Isovibe is also less expensive than many anti-vibe stems that can cost hundreds more.
Designed to absorb some of the shock and vibration that is normally transferred to your wrists, shoulders and arms when landing jumps and hitting hard bumps, the Isovibe can help prevent injury and rider fatigue.
“If you’ve even landed a jump wrong on one side you’ve experienced the side to side impact to your wrists that sometimes rips the bars out of your hands,” the company says. “This new Isovibe SX will absorb this impact and keep you in control.”
UTV Accessories Booming
Utility all terrain vehicles, or UTVs, are continuing to gain more and more popularity among enthusiasts—and manufacturers have taken notice.
Of the seven major ATV OEMs, Yamaha, Polaris, Arctic Cat and Kawasaki have already entered the UTV market with high-powered side-by-side models, and Honda is just about ready with its Big Red slated as a 2009 model year release. That leaves just Suzuki and Can-Am, and you can bet that they’re already at the drawing table.
Many consumers, however, seem to be looking for more than just the stock units the manufacturers are providing.
ATV.com attended a recent industry trade show in Indianapolis, and the amount of aftermarket accessories and modifications available for UTVs was staggering. As far as we could tell, if there was anything at all you wanted to change about the appearance and in some cases even the functionality of your UTV, you could find it here. From something as small as a shifter knob to an entire body kit that would make it pretty much impossible to tell what the original vehicle was from the outside.
As interesting and useful as many of these items are, the thought of spending a lot of money on accessories for a vehicle you just spent thousands of dollars on doesn’t always make a lot of sense. Why spend the time and money changing the look and feel of a vehicle you spent so much time and money picking out?

Medical Alert Device
A Palm City, Fla. company has introduced a new device that will make your medical history easy to access for emergency personnel in case you get hurt while out on your ATV or other powersports vehicle.
Connectyx Technologies Corp. created MedFlash, which is a simple USB storage device that can be attached to a keychain. Should you suffer a medical emergency on or off the trails, emergency personnel can access your information by plugging the Med Flash into a USB port and viewing your emergency data file.
“I think what sets the MedFlash apart from the other personal medical devices is that it’s a web portal,” Connectyx director of marketing Lisa Merkow told ATV.com. ”You can sync your MedFlash device with the web portal and upload and download the data so it’s always correct.”
ATV Food Plot Accessories
Quality deer management is all the rage among white tail deer hunters. Providing highly nutritious forage for deer will increase their antler size, help them survive high-stress conditions and hopefully help you fill the trophy space on your wall.
Even a small food plot only a half-acre in size can noticeably improve deer hunting. ATV accessory manufacturers have caught on to this booming market and there are more ATV and UTV implements available today than ever before. Food plot packages are available for small, medium and large food plot acreages—some are ‘one-pass’ designs that can make putting in a plot a snap. Here is a selection of some makes and models on the market.
QuadivatorPowerLoader UTV Accessory
Any hunter who has had to lug a downed bear out of the woods knows that it can be some of the most grueling work imaginable. A chubby bear has no natural holding points comparable to the legs or antlers of a deer. So even a 200 lb bruin is next to impossible for a solo hunter to carry out—especially if the bear is being retrieved from a thick cedar or spruce swamp.
Indeed, extracting a larger bear from such cover will put the strength and teamwork of a handful of men to an extreme test. It can be very warm during bear hunting season in many locations, and time is of the essence to prevent meat and hide spoilage.
One device that might be of assistance is the PowerLoader from Great Day Inc. of Tallulah, La. The PowerLoader is a lifting device that mounts to the front of an ATV or the back of a UTV and uses a winch (purchased separately) to hoist game up onto the vehicle’s rack or cargo bed. Then it helps to hold the animal in place for the ride out.
Anti-theft and Recovery Unit
A San Diego, Calif. company has come up with an affordable theft-recovery device for motorcycles and ATV machines.
BikeGPSTracking says its new unit offers all the features of a more expensive product at a much lower cost.
“The launch of our MC242 GPS Motorcycle Tracking Unit gives motorcycle and ATV owners the peace of mind in knowing their property is protected at a very affordable price,” says BikeGPSTracking president and CEO Mark Wells. “With the average price of GPS motorcycle tracking units being well over $500, we are able to leverage our technology leadership and bring the hardware cost down to $349.”
Beginning next month, BikeGPSTracking will also offer a tether switch or panic button and a vibration sensor as optional accessories. Should a rider be thrown off a vehicle, the tether switch will send an emergency alert via text message or an email to specified recipients. Pressing the panic button will generate a similar alert. If a motorcycle is moved more than 100 yards while the ignition is off, the vibration sensor will send out an alert. This will make theft recovery much faster, the company claims.
With the standard features of the MC242, owners will receive unlimited GPS tracking throughout Canada and the United States. Owners will also have the ability to set Geofence and speed alerts and will be notified when the ignition is turned on or off.
Monthly service plans range from $5.95 per month or $57 per year for tracking every 30 minutes, to $9.95 per month or $95 per year for tracking every ten minutes.

Pro Armor Introduces Side Net System
If you are tired of having stuff fall out of your UTV when you are tearing up the trails, a Corona, Calif. company may have a solution.
Pro Armor has introduced a new side net system (SNS) for the Yamaha Rhino 450 and 660 (2004-07) side-by-side vehicles.
The system, which uses high-strength nets to completely enclose the side of the Rhino, is designed to keep all belongings in the vehicle. Beyond its functionality, the SNS also makes the Rhino look like it’s ready to race.
The nets are made of heavy duty nylon and are triple stitched to increase strength. They are protected from direct sunlight by a UV coating and Pro Armor says they will last for many years of continued outdoor use.
